Global Warming and the Age of the Earth
Ahh, finally, the Swiss contribute something good.
While the scientific community refuses to acknowledge even the possibility (this goes against basic scientific principles of freedom of inquiry) of the existence of a being greater than man, "scientific findings" will continue to push man closer to this idea. One set of ancient writings might just be the closest they will get to an explanation on origins.

There are no articles that "prove" origins. Origins are a faith issue. You presuppositionally suppose (I am assuming) that the expanding or contracting universe is ultimately chaotic with no rhyme or reason and everything that is, is by chance. I pre-suppose that everything is a beautifully choreographed dance, each partner in the dance balancing each other out, move by move.
I would assume both of us understand that is a total generalization and there is also cause and effect added into the equation.
I think the article, with many others like it, suddenly take the millions and billions of supposed years and suddenly we are talking about the thousands. I am not assuming that person meant to talk about it in that way. I just find it interesting that the scientific community always assumes that something is millions of years old, then as technology progresses, we find out that it was just there for a couple of thousand. Or take Lucy (of Ethiopia) for example: the discoverer failed to reveal until years later that the knee joint he had included in the skeletal configuration was gotten from miles and miles away. The dig unearthed what he called the first human that stood upright. I wonder what is in the textbooks today about "Lucy"?
